All set. And then not so much.

I have already purchased Halloween costumes for the family. In mid-July. So feeling pretty on top of the game (and anal retentive). And then learn today that the kids' school/daycare will be closed for the entire year. Like fall 2021. Like 14 more months of this.

Annnnnd time to start drinking.

The strong silent type?

Beau is doing great physically: crawling, clapping, pulling up to stand, even almost cruising. But he really doesn't talk at all. Not even baby babble. For a while he was saying mam, which I of course took as "mama," but not anymore. It's really just a lot of fart noises, tbh. Maybe he's more of a boy than I realized.

Another birthday, first time during a pandemic. Nothing too exciting although my sweet friends surprised me with an incredible balloon display on the front door. Georgie wanted to regift something we already owned, so that was funny to open...

I wasn't liking some of the YouTube videos Georgie was watching (even in the Preschool setting of YouTube), so I set up some restrictions. And bless her heart - she hasn't even noticed! Sweet pea. #somanyeducationalvideossolittletime
