About to just pack up in the middle of the night.

I have to move. Right outside of my neighborhood is a terrible set of apartments where there are drug deals and gun shots and helicopters and homicides and it's just awful. I cannot raise a child like this. Last night I was awakened at midnight to hear 6 gunshots that sounded like they came from right outside the house. Followed by 6 more a little further away. Turns out someone was driving around shooting. Not on my street, but on the street over! What a nightmare. I guess that's what I'll be focused on this year. Getting the F out of town. :(
