If you prick us, do we not bleed??

Georgie scratched her nose until it bled last night (she refuses to let me cut her fingernails) - and it bled so much. On her pjs, on her sheets, through to her mattress cover - I think this is the first time I have seen her bleed and it was fairly traumatic (I'm sure it was no picnic for her, either). I know it won't be the last time, but I trimmed her damn nails just in case. :(
