Chalk it up to "character-building"
Had yet another first date last night, and literally the first thing out of the guy's mouth was "Well, YOU'RE tall." Um, thanks? Then there was something about an ex-wife and having to call the cops after she tried to choke him at a restaurant...after that I kind of tuned out. At least the salmon was good.

So would that be considered a good date or a bad date. I mean if the food was good and you got a good story out of it doesn't that make it good?
ReplyDeleteTotally. Way to see the silver lining.
ReplyDeleteAnd he paid, right? I went on a Match date who suggested we have drinks at the most expensive place in Denver. Of course I had no cash, so my date paid the valet and I paid the bill. I would have killed for salmon.
ReplyDeleteYou're response to "you're tall" should've been, "The exact height I put on my profile" and then gave him the up then down total body scope and ending with "So what's it like working with a chocolatier?"
